I am an associate professor and director of the Professional Writing major at SUNY Cortland. My primary blog, Digital Digs, deals with developments in new media, rhetoric, and higher education, as well as with my work in our Professional Writing major. I also host blogs for my courses.

I also advise the production of a multimedia college magazine called NeoVox. You should check it out.

Aside from my somewhat unusual area interest in technology (for an English professor), my life is fairly typical: married, two elementary-school aged kids, dog, house in 'burbs, car payments, student loan payments, mortgage, etc. I know, real exciting, huh? But at this point in life I am placing a focus on the ordinary. So you'll just have to deal with my ordinariness... or not.
